Spotless, good value hotel, the location was peaceful and nice short walk to the centre of phonsavan as well as restaurants. Loved the way our great-sized and bright twin room with a balcony was arranged. The breakfast was delicious and amazing with real crepes, fab food.

I recently stayed at Pukyo in Phonsavan for 3 nights and had an amazing experience. David and his wife went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and enjoyment. They took me out for dinner, cooked delicious meals, and provided a variety of breakfast options. The guesthouse itself is beautiful with a cozy dorm and a stunning backyard. David also helped arrange transportation and provided valuable information. I highly recommend Pukyo for a fantastic stay in Phonsavan!

As a woman traveling alone, I had a superb experience at this bed and breakfast. the owner, David, is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and even shares his passion for 90s/naughties electronic music. the room I stayed in was clean and spacious, with lots of natural light. the breakfast provided was great and the dining area was a lovely place to socialize with other guests. the fast wifi was a major advantage, allowing me to easily stay connected with loved ones back home.

We had an amazing stay at Pukyo . David and his wife were fantastic hosts, making us feel incredibly welcome and ensuring we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. They provided a shuttle service to local restaurants and even cooked a delicious dinner for us one night. the tour guide, Dave, was incredibly knowledgeable about the region and offered a wealth of information on history, geology, and politics in Laos. the breakfast in the morning was delightful, with a variety of options to choose from. the guesthouse itself was stunning and had a cozy and homely atmosphere. We also loved the beautiful backyard area with its lovely views. We highly recommend staying at Pukyo !
Nothing, all excellent 👌.

The guesthouse had inviting common spaces and nicely maintained outdoor areas. The sense of community quickly developed, and the host family provided transportation and local insights. The opportunity to meet people from the NGO working to clear undetonated explosives was a unique and eye-opening experience. Plus, being able to rent bicycles and motorbikes to explore the area was a definite advantage.
The weak water boiler made showering a bit uncomfortable due to low water pressure and cold water. Additionally, the property was a bit far from town, which meant relying on the shuttle, which wasn't available every night.

I stayed at this fantastic guesthouse for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean, spacious, and filled with lots of natural light. The wifi was the best I've had in Laos, allowing me to Skype home without any lag. The guesthouse had a huge dining table where I enjoyed a great breakfast and had the opportunity to socialize with other guests. The owner, David, was a fantastic host who went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. From picking me up from the bus stop to organizing local guides and providing tips for exploring the area, David's hospitality was exceptional. I can't recommend this place enough for its relaxed atmosphere and friendly atmosphere.
Strongly recommend this hotel.
